Dr Gabriela Pecherskiy graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).
Gaby uses a diverse range of treatment modalities, focusing on structural osteopathic techniques, including gentle stretching, massage, joint mobilization and manipulation as well as gentle techniques. She is qualified in dry needling and myofascial cupping, as well as kinesiology taping, and uses these in conjunction with her osteopathic treatment.
Gaby enjoys treating a variety of conditions, especially complaints related to postural compensation and shoulder pain. Additionally, she has an interest in working with children and women’s health. She is adept at acute sport injury treatment and management, from prior experience working as a sports trainer for several years at Ormond Amateur Football Club.
In 2018, Gaby completed a hospital placement in India, where she worked across Mumbai and Goa. There, she was part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons, in order to provide patient centered care to a variety of patients, ranging from post surgical individuals to marathon runners.
In her spare time, Gaby enjoys running, being outdoors, travelling and seeing friends.
